Drinking Water Management Act Enforcement Rules Article 3
The matters designated in this Act as the responsibility of special municipality competent authorities are as follows.1. Planning and implementation of special municipality drinking water management programs and plans2. Implementation of drinking water management laws and regulations and determination, interpretation and implementation of special municipality drinking water management laws and regulations3. Research and development and public awareness work for special municipality drinking water management4. Monitoring and testing of special municipality drinking water quality5. Implementation of special municipality drinking water management survey work and compilation and reporting of statistical data6. Other special municipality drinking water management matters

本條例所定直轄市主管機關之主管事項如下：
一、直轄市飲用水管理之實施方案與計畫之規劃及執行事項。
二、飲用水管理法規之執行與直轄市飲用水管理法規之訂定、釋示及執行事項。
三、直轄市飲用水管理之研究發展及宣導事項。
四、直轄市飲用水水質監測及檢驗事項。
五、直轄市飲用水管理調查與統計資料之製作及彙報事項。
六、其他有關直轄市飲用水管理事項。
