Long-Term Care Services Act Article 41

Upon the permanent closure or suspension of operations of a long-term care institution, the institution shall provide appropriate referrals or placement for its service users. If the institution is unable to facilitate such referrals or placement, the competent authority shall assist in the process, and the long-term care institution shall cooperate fully.If a long-term care institution fails to provide appropriate referrals or placement in accordance with the preceding paragraph, the local competent authority may exercise compulsory measures.Long-term care institutions that accept such referrals shall cooperate with the competent authority to provide all necessary assistance.
