Special Act for Post-Disaster Reconstruction of the Matai'an River Landslide Dam in Hualien Article 6
Post-disaster reconstruction in the affected areas shall respect the people, communities, tribes, organizations, cultures, and lifestyles of the region. To resettle disaster-affected people or carry out reconstruction in the disaster-affected areas, all levels of government may simplify administrative procedures regarding the designation, acquisition, modification, evaluation, management, maintenance, or other matters related to land and buildings, and apply Article 40 of the Disaster Prevention and Protection Act.

災區重建應尊重該地區人民、社區、部落、組織、文化及生活方式。
各級政府為安置受災民眾或進行受災地區重建工作，對於涉及用地及建築物之劃定、取得、變更、評估、管理、維護或其他事項，得簡化行政程序，適用災害防救法第四十條。
