When implementing the restrictions, the restrained person shall be placed or isolated in quarters, an infirmary, or another appropriate location, and the restriction shall be terminated when the danger or harm ceases; the duration shall not exceed 24 hours. However, aboard military vessels underway, after the commander has afforded the restrained person an opportunity to make a statement, this time limit does not apply.If the restrained person suffers from illness or physical injury and requires medical treatment, the restriction shall be terminated and the person shall be sent to a hospital for treatment.

實施管束，應將受管束人安置或隔離於寢室、醫務所或其他適當之處所，並於危險或危害結束時終止之，管束時間不得逾二十四小時。
但航行中軍用艦艇，經指揮官給予受管束人陳述意見機會後，不在此限。
受管束人患有疾病或身體外傷，有送醫治療之必要者，應終止管束，並將其送往醫院治療。
