Juvenile Justice Act Article 18-2
Where a juvenile, having been lawfully summoned, fails to appear without justifiable cause, a judicial police officer or the judicial police may, when necessary, apply to the judge of the competent juvenile court for a companion letter to enforce the appearance of the juvenile concerned.
