Citizen Judges Act (Act on Criminal Trials with the participation of Citizen Judge (Guomin Faguan)) Article 101
An administrative fine of not more than NT$ 30,000 may be imposed to people found in one of the following circumstances without a justifiable reason:1. A citizen judge who is absent on the trial date or on the date scheduled for the Final Deliberation;2. A citizen judge who refuses to fulfill his or her duties by refusing to make a statement or by any other means; or3. An alternate citizen judge who is absent on the trial date.

無正當理由而有下列情形之一者，得處新臺幣三萬元以下罰鍰：
一、國民法官不於審判期日或終局評議時到場。
二、國民法官於終局評議時，以拒絕陳述或其他方式拒絕履行其職務。
三、備位國民法官不於審判期日到場。
