Regulations on Treatment and Storage of Radioactive Waste and Safety Management of the Facilities Article 15-1
The low-level radioactive waste generated by the operation of the treatment facilities and the nuclear reactor facilities shall not be stored for more than five years without being stabilized.If it is assessed that it cannot be stabilized within five years, the operator shall submit a plan for the stabilization, and report to the competent authority for approval before continuing to store.

處理設施與核子反應器設施運轉所產生之低放射性廢棄物，未經安定化處理者，貯存不得超過五年。
經評估無法於五年內進行安定化處理者，經營者應提報安定化處理規劃，報請主管機關同意後，始得繼續貯存。
