Regulations Governing Use of Insurer's funds in Special Projects, Public Investments and Social Welfare Enterprises Article 2
Use of Insurer’s funds for special projects shall be restricted to investments in or extension of loans for the following projects:1. Emerging and key strategic projects or infrastructure projects approved by the government.2. Venture investment enterprise qualified to receive guidance and/or assistance from the central competent authority according to the Regulations for the Guidelines for Venture Capital Businesses or private equity funds that meet the criteria specified by the competent authority and support projects in government policies.3. Industrial zone or regional development projects approved by the government.4. Purchase of houses by the houseless.5. Cultural and educational conservation and construction.6. Funeral facilities not distributed as public utilities listed in Article 3.7. Other use in line with the government policies.

保險業資金辦理專案運用，以下列事項之投資或放款為限：
一、政府核定之新興重要策略性事業或基礎建設。
二、依創業投資事業輔導辦法規定列為中央主管機關輔導協助之創業投資事業或符合主管機關所定條件且投資範圍為配合政府政策項目之私募股權基金。
三、政府核定之工業區或區域開發計畫。
四、無自用住宅者之購屋。
五、文化、教育之保存及建設。
六、非屬第三條所列具公共投資性質之殯葬設施。
七、其他配合政府政策之資金運用。
一、政府核定之新興重要策略性事業或基礎建設。
二、依創業投資事業輔導辦法規定列為中央主管機關輔導協助之創業投資事業或符合主管機關所定條件且投資範圍為配合政府政策項目之私募股權基金。
三、政府核定之工業區或區域開發計畫。
四、無自用住宅者之購屋。
五、文化、教育之保存及建設。
六、非屬第三條所列具公共投資性質之殯葬設施。
七、其他配合政府政策之資金運用。
