Negotiable Instruments Act Article 118
The holder of a bill is entitled to make a duplicate of the bill.A duplicate shall be marked distinctly with the word "Duplicate" and shall transcribe exactly all the particulars contained in the original bill, with a note about where the transcription ends.If a duplicate is made of a bill, the holder shall declare the fact in the original bill.Endorsement and guaranty may also be made on a duplicate with the same force and effect as those made on the original.

執票人有作成匯票謄本之權利。
謄本應標明謄本字樣，謄寫原本上之一切事項，並註明迄於何處為謄寫部分。
執票人就匯票作成謄本時，應將已作成謄本之旨，記載於原本。
背書及保證，亦得在謄本上為之，與原本上所為之背書及保證有同一效力。
