Regulations Governing Foreign Bank Branches And Representative Offices Article 7
The total net worth of all branches of a foreign bank in the ROC as well as its offshore banking unit ("OBU") shall not be less than two-thirds of the minimum amount of working capital required by the competent authority. If the net worth falls below such minimum level, the bank's designated representative shall immediately report same to the competent authority.In the event described in the preceding paragraph, the competent authority may order the bank to remit in sufficient funds within a prescribed period of time to meet the requirement on minimum working capital amount.

外國銀行在我國所有分行之淨值併計其國際金融業務分行之淨值，不得低於主管機關規定最低營業所用資金之三分之二，不足者，其指定代表應即申報主管機關。
