Regulations Governing the Conduct of Securities Trading Margin Purchase and Short Sale Operations by Securities Firms Article 24
The funds or securities required by a securities firm conducting margin purchase or short sale business may be re-financed by a securities finance enterprise.When a securities firm processes re-financing referred to in the preceding paragraph, it shall nevertheless still separately perform its settlement obligations to the stock exchange or OTC exchange.The term "re-finance" means that a securities firm acquires financing of funds or securities from a securities finance enterprise.

證券商辦理有價證券買賣融資融券業務所需之資金或有價證券，得向證券金融事業轉融通。
證券商依前項規定辦理轉融通時，仍應分別對證券交易所或證券櫃檯買賣中心履行交割義務。
稱轉融通者，指證券商向證券金融事業辦理轉融通資金或有價證券之謂。
