Long-Term Care Services Act Article 39
The competent authority shall provide guidance, supervision, monitoring, inspection, and evaluation of long-term care institutions. When necessary, the authority may notify an institution to provide relevant service data; the long-term care institution shall provide necessary assistance and shall not evade, obstruct, or refuse such requests.The results of the aforementioned evaluations shall be made publicly available.The evaluations described in the first paragraph shall be categorized according to the type of long-term care institution. The regulations governing the target entities, evaluation criteria, methodology, qualifications and appointment of evaluators, training, and other relevant matters shall be determined by the central competent authority.

主管機關對長照機構應予輔導、監督、考核、檢查及評鑑；必要時，並得通知其提供相關服務資料，長照機構應提供必要之協助，不得規避、妨礙或拒絕。
前項評鑑結果，應予公告。
第一項評鑑應依長期照顧服務機構類別訂定；其評鑑對象、項目、方式、評鑑人員資格與遴聘、培訓及其他有關事項之辦法，由中央主管機關定之。
