Long-Term Care Services Act Article 25

Any suspension of operations, permanent closure, resumption of operations, or changes to the registered items on the establishment permit of a long-term care institution shall be reported to the competent authority for approval within thirty days prior to the date of occurrence.The period for the aforementioned suspension of operations shall not exceed one year. When necessary, an application for a one-time extension may be submitted for a maximum of one year; if this period is exceeded, the institution shall proceed with permanent closure.The aforementioned permanent closure shall be processed within thirty days from the date the suspension period expires; if not processed within the time limit, the competent authority may revoke the institution's establishment permit.The regulations governing the application procedures, review process, and other relevant matters for the first and second paragraphs shall be determined by the central competent authority.
