Act of Assistance for Family in Hardship Article 5
Families in special circumstances may apply for the types of assistance specified in Article 2, and are not limited to a single category. However, if the applicant is already receiving living assistance, benefits, or placement in accordance with other laws or regulations, only the difference between such assistance or benefits and those provided under this Act may be subsidized; no duplicate assistance shall be granted.The subsidy under this Act may be stopped by the municipal, county (city) competent authority and the subsidiary received may be claimed if the beneficiary under this Act has any of the following events:1. Provision of false information.2. Omission or refusal to provide information required by municipal, county (city) competent authority.3. Acquisition of family support through fraud or other improper means.

特殊境遇家庭得依第二條所定家庭扶助項目申請，不以單一項目為限。
但得依其他法令規定取得生活扶助、給付或安置者，除得補助生活扶助、給付與本條例之差額外，不予重複扶助。
依本條例接受補助者有下列情形之一時，直轄市、縣（市）主管機關應停止其家庭扶助，並得追回其所領取之補助：
一、提供不實資料。
二、隱匿或拒絕提供直轄市、縣（市）主管機關要求之資料。
三、以詐欺或其他不正當方法取得家庭扶助。
但得依其他法令規定取得生活扶助、給付或安置者，除得補助生活扶助、給付與本條例之差額外，不予重複扶助。
依本條例接受補助者有下列情形之一時，直轄市、縣（市）主管機關應停止其家庭扶助，並得追回其所領取之補助：
