Regulations Governing Management of Designated Psychiatric Care Institutions Article 8
Designated Physicians who fail to apply for an extension before the expiration of their qualification shall not continue to handle the matters set forth in Article 14 and shall complete the extension application procedures referred to in Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article as soon as possible.Once the extension is completed, the renewed qualification shall commence from the day following the expiration of the previous designation period.

指定醫師未能於指定之有效期間屆滿前申請展延者，不得繼續辦理第十四條所定業務，並應儘速完成前條第二項展延申請事宜。
指定醫師完成展延事宜後，其指定之有效期間，自前次指定有效期間屆滿之次日起算。
