Midwifery Personnel Act Article 34

Those violating Article 14, Paragraph 2 of Article 16, Paragraph 4 of Article 18, Paragraph 2 of Article 19, Article 23, Paragraphs 2 and 3 of Article 25, Article 28, Article 30 or Article 31 shall be subject to a fine of not less than NT$10,000 and not more than NT$50,000, and will be required to make improvements within a specified period of time. In cases of failure to make improvements before the deadline or severe violations, they shall be subject to suspension of operations for a period of not less than one month and not more than one year or revocation of their opening licenses.Those violating Paragraph 2 of Article 19 shall be punished in accordance with the preceding paragraph, and will be required to refund the excess amounts charged within a specified period of time. In cases of failure to refund before the deadline, consecutive punishments shall be imposed.
