Regulations for Fishing Vessels Conducting Saury Fishery in North Pacific Ocean Article 12-2
The annual total catch quota of the Republic of China in the north Pacific Ocean, the individual vessel initial quota for each saury fishing vessel, and the maximum annual available quota per vessel shall be announced by the competent authority in accordance with applicable conservation and management measures.In any of the following events, the competent authority may order the whole saury fishing fleet to stop catching the concerned species by a deadline:(1) The total catch amount of the species with catch limit has reached 90% of the annual total catch quota as referred to in the preceding paragraph.(2) The Secretariat of the North Pacific Fisheries Commission (hereinafter referred to as “NPFC”) notifies all Members to close the fishery.The period for using the quota as referred to in paragraph 1 shall be announced by the competent authority. The maximum period shall be 180 days annually.The total remaining quota of the Republic of China in the north Pacific Ocean may be arranged by the competent authority.

我國於北太平洋之年度漁獲總配額、各秋刀魚漁船之單船初始配額及年度單船可用配額上限，由主管機關依各養護管理措施公告之。
有下列情形之一者，主管機關得命令秋刀魚漁船限期停止捕撈該配額限制魚種：
一、配額限制魚種漁獲量達前項年度漁獲總配額百分之九十。
二、北太平洋漁業委員會（以下簡稱NPFC）秘書處通知各會員停止作業。
第一項配額使用期間由主管機關公告之，每年最長為一百八十日。
當年度我國於北太平洋賸餘之漁獲總配額，由主管機關統籌運用。
有下列情形之一者，主管機關得命令秋刀魚漁船限期停止捕撈該配額限制魚種：
一、配額限制魚種漁獲量達前項年度漁獲總配額百分之九十。
二、北太平洋漁業委員會（以下簡稱NPFC）秘書處通知各會員停止作業。
第一項配額使用期間由主管機關公告之，每年最長為一百八十日。
當年度我國於北太平洋賸餘之漁獲總配額，由主管機關統籌運用。
