When altering any of the following items of the hoisting cage, the employer shall fill out the Application Form for Alteration Inspection of Hoisting Cages (Annex 12) and submit the drawings of the parts to be altered to the inspecting organization to apply for the alteration inspection:1. Worktable.2. Boom and other structural parts.3. Elevating devices.4. Braking devices.5. Control devices.6. Steel wire rope or hoisting chain.7. Means of fixing.The requirements stipulated in Items 3 to 6 of the preceding Paragraph are not applicable to those alterations where the involved materials, specifications, and dimensions remain unchanged.The inspecting organization shall record the date and results of the inspection as well as the altered parts on the original qualification certificate for hoisting cages qualified in the alteration inspection.The stipulations in Article 64 and Article 65 shall apply mutatis mutandis to the alteration inspection stipulated in Paragraph 1.

雇主變更吊籠下列各款之一時，應填具吊籠變更檢查申請書（附表十二）及變更部分之圖件，向檢查機構申請變更檢查：
一、工作台。
二、吊臂及其他構造部分。
三、升降裝置。
四、制動裝置。
五、控制裝置。
六、鋼索或吊鏈。
七、固定方式。
前項第三款至第六款變更，材質、規格及尺寸不變者，不在此限。
檢查機構對於變更檢查合格之吊籠，應於原檢查合格證上記載檢查日期、變更部分及檢查結果。
第一項變更檢查準用第六十四條及第六十五條規定。
