Regulations on Awarding the Top Performances of Meteorological Service Article 2
The Central Weather Bureau (hereinafter referred to as CWB) may suggest the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (hereinafter referred to as MOTC) to grant an award and/or commendation to a government agency, institution, organization, or individual that has practiced meteorological service for its top performance.The CWB may undertake the aforementioned transactions in an open and periodic manner by receiving an application or a recommendation and via an equitable assessment of a government agency, institution, organization, or individual that has practiced meteorological service.

交通部中央氣象局（以下簡稱中央氣象局）對從事氣象業務之機關、學校、團體或個人，著有績效者，得依職權報請交通部獎勵或表揚。
中央氣象局得以公開方式定期受理從事氣象業務之機關、學校、團體或個人之申請或推薦，經客觀公正程序審議通過後，報請交通部獎勵或表揚。
