Regulations Governing the Certification for Aviation Products, Appliances and Parts Article 49
Whenever a material, part, process, or appliance is required to be approved under these regulations, unless it is designed, manufactured and mark according to the industry standards that is recognized by CAA or it is produced by an owner or operator for maintaining or altering that owner or operator's product, it may be approved:1) Under a Parts Manufacturer Approval under this chapter;2) Under a TSO Authorization issued under Chapter 8;3) In conjunction with type certification procedures for a product; or

航空產品之裝備及零組件，除係依民航局認可之工業標準設計、製造及標示，或航空器所有人或使用人為維修或改裝所配製者外，應依下列方式之一辦理檢定：
一、依本章規定申請零組件製造者核准書。
二、依第八章規定申請技術標準件核准書。
三、申請型別檢定證時一併審核。
