Regulations Governing Verification and Inspection of Measuring Instruments Article 14
Legal measuring instruments that have passed verification shall bear a verification mark “ ,” the ratio of the lines to the spaces being 1:2.The mark “ ” shall be affixed to the measuring instruments in any irremovable methods of the following manners or in their combination:1.Engraving, stamping, spraying, branding or adhering.2.Seal.The verification agency (institution) shall issue a report of verification result of legal measuring instruments after conducting verification.For legal measuring instruments that meet the requirements of the technical specifications for verification and inspection of measuring instruments, a verification certificate shall be issued after they pass verification. 前項「同」字得以下列不易脫落之適當方式分別或數種合併附加之：
一、鏨、蓋、噴、烙印或黏貼。
二、封印。
經檢定之法定度量衡器，檢定機關（構）應發給檢定結果通知書。
檢定合格之法定度量衡器，除依度量衡器檢定檢查技術規範規定應發給合格證書者外，申請人得敘明理由，連同證照費，申請發給合格證書。
前項「同」字得以下列不易脫落之適當方式分別或數種合併附加之：
一、鏨、蓋、噴、烙印或黏貼。
二、封印。
經檢定之法定度量衡器，檢定機關（構）應發給檢定結果通知書。
