Integrated Circuit Layout Protection Act Article 8
An applicant may appoint an agent who resides within the territory of the R.O.C. to apply for circuit layout registrations and handle other related matters.Where an owner of a circuit layout has no residence or business office within the territory of the R.O.C., the owner shall appoint an agent who resides within the territory of the R.O.C. to apply for circuit layout registrations and handle other related matters.

申請人申請電路布局登記及辦理電路布局有關事項，得委任在中華民國境內有住所之代理人辦理之。
在中華民國境內無住所或營業所者，申請電路布局登記及辦理電路布局有關事項，應委任在中華民國境內有住所之代理人辦理之。
