To promote industrial transformation and upgrading in order to maintain the livelihood of local industries and small- and medium-sized enterprises and protect local job opportunities and preserve the environment, the central competent authority may, in consultation with the Ministry of the Interior, plan the establishment of small rural industrial parks or small local industrial parks, and may provide necessary assistance, counseling, or subsidies.The regulations governing the recipients of the assistance, counseling, or subsidies as referred to in the preceding paragraph, the eligibility criteria, the review standards, the application procedures, and other relevant matters shall be prescribed by the central competent authority.

為促進產業轉型及升級，以維持在地產業、中小企業之生存，並保障在地之就業及環境之保育，中央主管機關得會商內政部，規劃鄉村型小型園區或在地型小型園區，並給予必要之協助、輔導或補助。
前項協助、輔導或補助之對象、資格條件、審核基準、申請程序及其他相關事項之辦法，由中央主管機關定之。
