A person who with the intention of making a profit gives another a morphine injection or supplies a place for him to smoke or take opium or one of its compounds shall be sentenced to imprisonment for not less than one year but not more than seven years; in addition thereto, a fine of not more than thirty thousand dollars may be imposed.An attempt to commit an offense specified in the preceding paragraph is punishable.

意圖營利，為人施打嗎啡或以館舍供人吸食鴉片或其化合質料者，處一年以上七年以下有期徒刑，得併科三萬元以下罰金。
