A person who manufactures, sells, or transports an instrument used exclusively for smoking or taking opium shall be sentenced to imprisonment for not more than three years; in addition thereto, a fine of not more than fifteen thousand dollars may be imposed.An attempt to commit an offense specified in the preceding paragraph is punishable.

製造、販賣或運輸專供吸食鴉片之器具者，處三年以下有期徒刑，得併科一萬五千元以下罰金。
