Regulations Governing Appointment of University Research Personnel Article 5
An associate researcher shall have one of the following eligibility qualifications:1. Have been employed at a university as an assistant researcher for at least three years, with a good or excellent performance record, and also have important research results or published academic writing.2. Have a doctorate or an equivalent academic credential and worked for at least four years at a university or research institute undertaking related research work, and also have important research results or published academic writing.

副研究員應具有下列資格之一：
一、任大學助理研究員三年以上，成績優良，並有重要研究成果或專門著作者。
二、具有博士學位或其同等學歷證書，曾在大學或研究機構從事相關之研究工作四年以上，並有重要研究成果或專門著作者。
