Regulations Governing Appointment of University Research Personnel Article 4
A researcher shall have one of the following eligibility qualifications :1. Have been employed at a university as an associate researcher for at least three years, with a good or excellent performance record, and have important research results or published academic writing .2. Have a doctorate or an equivalent academic credential and at least eight years of experience undertaking related research work at a university or research institute, and also have important research results or published academic writing.

研究員應具下列資格之一：
一、任大學副研究員三年以上成績優良，並有重要研究成果或專門著作者。
二、具有博士學位或其同等學歷證書，曾在大學或研究機構從事相關之研究工作八年以上，並有重要研究成果或專門著作者。
