Sports Industry Development Act Article 7-2
The central competent authority shall promote the establishment of athlete unions and organizations for both professional and amateur sports to ensure their sound development.The regulations governing the guidance, rewards, subsidies, and other related matters of these athlete unions and organizations shall be determined by the central competent authority.

為健全職業與業餘運動業之發展，中央主管機關應積極輔導相關賽事之運動員工會或團體成立。
