Sports Industry Development Act Article 7-3
The central competent authority shall formulate and promote policies to prevent sports betting. It shall assist professional and amateur athlete organizations in establishing trust fund mechanisms for the prevention of sports betting, as well as providing legal education.Any person who obstructs the fairness of sports competitions through violence, coercion, fraud, inducement, or other illegal means shall be sentenced to imprisonment for no less than one year but no more than seven years, and may also be fined between NT$10 million and NT$30 million.If the offense described in the preceding paragraph results in the death of another person, the offender shall be sentenced to life imprisonment or a fixed-term imprisonment of no less than seven years; if the offense results in serious injury, the offender shall be sentenced to imprisonment for no less than three years but no more than ten years. In either case, the offender may also be fined between NT$20 million and NT$50 million.Any person who commits the offense specified in Paragraph 2 for profit or in conjunction with three or more individuals shall be sentenced to imprisonment for no less than three years but no more than ten years, and may also be fined between NT$20 million and NT$50 million.Attempts to commit the offenses described in Paragraph 2 and the previous paragraph shall be punishable.The scope of the sports competitions referred to in Paragraph 2 is as follows:1. Professional sports events organized by professional sports leagues.2. Corporate leagues organized by specific sports organizations.3. Other important sports competitions related to the development of the sports industry, as Designated by the central competent authority.

中央主管機關應制定並推動防治運動賭博政策，輔導職業與業餘運動員團體建立防治運動賭博之信託基金機制及辦理法治教育。
以強暴、脅迫、詐術、利誘或其他非法之方法，妨害運動競技賽事之公平者，處一年以上七年以下有期徒刑，得併科新臺幣一千萬元以上三千萬元以下罰金。
犯前項之罪，因而致人於死者，處無期徒刑或七年以上有期徒刑；致重傷者，處三年以上十年以下有期徒刑，各得併科新臺幣二千萬元以上五千萬元以下罰金。
意圖營利或三人以上共同犯第二項之罪者，處三年以上十年以下有期徒刑，得併科新臺幣二千萬元以上五千萬元以下罰金。
第二項及前項之未遂犯罰之。
第二項運動競技賽事範圍如下：
一、職業運動聯盟舉辦之職業運動賽事。
二、特定體育團體舉辦之企業聯賽。
三、其他經中央主管機關公告之與運動產業發展有關之重要運動競技賽事。
