Private School Act Enforcement Rules Article 33

Personnel responsible for instructional affairs, student affairs (teaching and guidance), and general affairs at a private school shall be hired by the school head in accordance with relevant regulations for that level of the school.As a rule, the head of a private school shall hire staff members that possess private school teacher insurance qualifications as prescribed by the school's competent authority.As a rule, personnel responsible for instructional affairs, student affairs (teaching and guidance), and general affairs, accounting personnel, and personnel affairs management personnel may not exceed 65 years of age. Hiring and personnel affairs procedures for such persons shall be included within the school's corporate body's internal control system.Teacher pay and evaluation at a private school shall be handled on the basis of regulations for public schools of the same type and level.
