Act of Military Service for Officers and Non-commissioned Officers of the Armed Forces Article 50
The right of requesting for Retirement Severance Pay by an Office or Non-commissioned Officer will be eliminated after ten years from the second month of their retirement or discharge. However, if the right cannot be exercised due to force majeure, the limitation will be computed from the day when the right is exercisable.For those receiving monthly Retirement Severance Pay, during the payable period, the limitation of each instalment will be computed from the next month of the day the payment should be requested.

軍官、士官請領退除給與權利，自退伍除役之次月起，經過十年不行使而消滅。
但因不可抗力事由，致不能行使者，自該請求權可行使時起算。
支領月退除給與人員，支領期間，其各期請求權，自應領日之次月起算。
