Pay Act of the Armed Force Article 5
The special pay shall be classified into the following seven categories.(1) Special pay for position: this applies to Generals and officers in charge or holding positions of unusually heavy responsibilities.(2) Special pay for profession: this applies to professional military personnel at the rank of Lieutenant General or below.(3) Special pay for region: this applies to military personnel assigned to remote, special regions or overseas; such classification shall not be based on service category or rank.(4) Special pay for duty: this applies to military personnel assigned to hazardous or technica l duties, or to duties of a particular nature.(5) Special pay for volunteer military service: this applies to voluntary military personnel, who shall be entitled to a monthly allowance of NT$30,000.(6) Special pay for combat team: this applies to military personnel of combat teams or combat support teams.(7) Overtime pay: this applies to military personnel who did not take their entitled leave.Subparagraph 5 of the preceding paragraph shall take effect on January 1, 2026. The implementation of other categories of special pay shall be prescribed by the Executive Yuan.The amount of special pay under Paragraph 1 shall be properly adjusted when the cumulative growth rate of the Consumer Price Index, as announced by The Central BAS Agency, reaches three percent.

加給分下列七種：
一、職務加給：對上將、主官（管）人員或職責繁重者加給之。
二、專業加給：對中將以下專業人員加給之。
三、地域加給：對服役偏遠、特殊地區或國外者加給之，不得以役別和階級為分級標準。
四、勤務加給：對從事危險性或技術性工作者或依其勤務特性加給之。
五、志願役加給：對志願投入軍旅者每月新臺幣三萬元加給之。
六、戰鬥部隊加給：對戰鬥部隊或戰鬥支援部隊加給之。
七、超時加給：對各類休假有應休而未休者加給之。
前項第五款，自中華民國一百十五年一月一日施行；其餘各款加給之給與，由行政院定之。
第一項所列之加給發放數額，於中央主計機關發布之消費者物價指數累計成長率達百分之三時，應予適度調整。
