Standard for Installation of Fire Safety Devices based on Use and Occupancy Article 35
Indoor hydrant box shall comply with the following provisions:1.The box shall be made of steel sheet with a thickness more than 1.6mm or the equivalent of nonflammable materials.2.The box shall be deep enough to contain hydrants, hose and nozzle, and the surface area shall be more than 0.7m2.3.The box surface shall be marked with obvious text “Fire Hydrant” that is unlikely to be brushed off, and each character shall be bigger than 20cm2.

室內消防栓箱，應符合下列規定：
一、箱身為厚度在一點六毫米以上之鋼板或具同等性能以上之不燃材料者。
二、具有足夠裝設消防栓、水帶及瞄子等裝備之深度，其箱面表面積在零點七平方公尺以上。
三、箱面有明顯而不易脫落之消防栓字樣，每字在二十平方公分以上。
