Standard for Installation of Fire Safety Devices based on Use and Occupancy Article 175
It is allowable emergency lighting equipments are not installed in the following places:1.Living room in refuge storey where the travel distance from any point of the room to the exit leading to outside the house is less than 30m.2.Passage or aisle with effective daylighting and directly facing the outside.

緊急照明燈之構造，依下列規定設置：
一、白熾燈為雙重繞燈絲燈泡，其燈座為瓷製或與瓷質同等以上之耐熱絕緣材料製成者。
二、日光燈為瞬時起動型，其燈座為耐熱絕緣樹脂製成者。
三、水銀燈為高壓瞬時點燈型，其燈座為瓷製或與瓷質同等以上之耐熱絕緣材料製成者。
四、其他光源具有與前三款同等耐熱絕緣性及瞬時點燈之特性，經中央主管機關核准者。
五、放電燈之安定器，裝設於耐熱性外箱。
