Standard for Installation of Fire Safety Devices based on Use and Occupancy Article 146-4
Installation of exit indicating lamps and direction indicating lamps shall comply with the following:1. The lamp shall be installed without hindering the passage.2. No decoration or billboards that may affect the visibility of the lamp, shall be installed near the lamp.3. Lamps installed on the floor surface shall possess the strength of sustaining heavy load from damages.4. The lamps shall be water-proof if installed in locations that might suffer rain spray or moisture.

出口標示燈及避難方向指示燈之裝設，應符合下列規定：
一、設置位置應不妨礙通行。
二、周圍不得設有影響視線之裝潢及廣告招牌。
三、設於地板面之指示燈，應具不因荷重而破壞之強度。
四、設於可能遭受雨淋或溼氣滯留之處所者，應具防水構造。
