Police Personnel Management Act Article 30-1

Police personnel who are entitled to reinstatement in accordance with Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article shall apply for reinstatement in writing through the institution they serve to the institutions or academies that originally approved their suspension from duty.The institutions or academies that originally approved suspension from duty of the police personnel shall make a decision within two months starting from the date the application for reinstatement was received in accordance with the preceding Paragraph. If necessary, the two-month period may be extended and the applicant shall be notified of the extension. Only one extension is allowed, and the duration of extension shall not exceed two months.Police personnel whose reinstatement has been preliminarily approved shall resume work within 30 days starting from the date the reinstatement notice was delivered; failure to meet the deadline, except for grounds not attributable to the applicant, will lead to revocation of the preliminary reinstatement notice and continuation of the suspension from duty.
