Police Personnel Management Act Article 15
Incumbent police officers whose rank had been qualified through examination and assessment in accordance with the law before this Act came into force shall be reappointed according to the following principles:1. Those with senior rank shall be appointed as Police Generals.2. Those appointed by recommendation shall be reappointed as Police Superintendents.3. Those appointed by the commission shall be reappointed as Police Sergeants.
