Law on the Exclusive Economic Zone and the Continental Shelf of the Republic of China Article 12
In order to meet special circumstances, the Republic of China, in explicitly defined areas of its exclusive economic zone, may adopt special mandatory measures for the prevention of pollution resulting from vessels, either discharge, navigation, or other practices of vessels.
