Regulations Governing the Approval of Departure of Substitute Services Draftees Article 4
The preceding Article applies to substitute services draftees that apply to enter Mainland Area, except in the following conditions:1. The draftees of General Substitute Services cannot be dispatched to Mainland Area for duty.2. The draftees of R&D Substitute Services or Industry Training Substitute Services cannot be sent to Mainland Area to receive training or to participate in studies relevant to the work of the draftee.The aforementioned Mainland Area refers to the Mainland Area stipulated by Paragraph 2, Article 2 of the Act Governing Relations between the People of the Taiwan Area and the Mainland Area.

替代役役男於服役期間申請進入大陸地區，除下列情形外，準用前條規定：
一、不得派遣一般替代役役男赴大陸地區服勤。
二、不得遴派研發或產業訓儲替代役役男赴大陸地區接受與其業務有關之訓練或進修。
前項大陸地區，指臺灣地區與大陸地區人民關係條例第二條第二款所定之大陸地區。
