The Servicemember Relief Act Article 42
The Protection Committee may, ex officio or by the petitioner’s request, order the holder(s) of the document or other items to present them, which the Protection Committee may retain such document or items.The Protection Committee may retrieve the document or other items that are in the official’s possession or the agency’s custody.The official or agency cannot refuse to comply with the retrieval prescribed in the preceding paragraph, except for impairing the national security or otherwise provided by other laws.

權保會得依職權或依復審人之申請，命文書或其他物件之持有人提出該物件，並得留置之。
公務員或機關掌管之文書或其他物件，權保會得調閱之。
