Official Seals Act Article 15
Provisions on the use of official seals are as follows:1. National seal: The Seal of the Republic of China is affixed to diplomatic documents issued by the President. The Seal of Honor is affixed to letters of commendation issued by the President.2. Permanent organization seal and temporary/special organization seal: Permanent organization seals are affixed to the official documents of permanent government agencies and organizations; temporary/special organization seals are affixed to the official documents of temporary/special government agencies and organizations.3. Office seal: Affixed on petitions, submissions of various securities and reports for approval, and other official documents.4. Name seal: Affixed on documents for official business or various certificates.

印信之使用規定如左：
一、國璽：中華民國之璽，蓋用於總統所發之各項外交文書；榮典之璽，蓋用於總統所發之各項褒獎書狀。
二、印及關防：印蓋用於永久性機關之公文；關防蓋用於臨時性或特殊性機關之公文。
三、職章：蓋用於呈文、簽呈各種證券、報表，及其他公務文件。
四、圖記：蓋用於公務業務，或各項證明文件上。
