Regulations for Academia Sinica Presidential Searches Article 10
If the President of Academia Sinica intends to seek reappointment for a second term, the Council Chief Executive Officer shall convene a meeting one year prior to the current term’s expiration. Council Members shall elect from among themselves a temporary Chairperson to preside over the reappointment voting process.The reappointment vote shall be conducted by secret ballot, and the President reappointed upon receiving a majority of the votes cast by the Council Members present.

本院院長於第一任任期將屆滿而有意連任時，應於任滿前一年，由評議會執行長召集會議，評議員互推一人為臨時主席，主持院長連任投票事宜。
院長連任投票應以無記名投票方式行之，以出席評議員過半數為通過。
