If necessary, the CSPTC may, ex officio or by the petitioner’s request, command the holder(s) of the document or other items to present them, which the CSPTC may take custody of such document or item.The CSPTC may review the document or other items under the custody of a civil servant or a government agency.The civil servant or government agency shall not decline the reviewing in the preceding paragraph unless against the national secrecy.
中文原文 公務人員保障法第56條
保訓會必要時，得依職權或依復審人之申請，命文書或其他物件之持有人提出該物件，並得留置之。
公務人員或機關掌管之文書或其他物件，保訓會得調閱之。
前項情形，除有妨害國家機密者外，該公務人員或機關不得拒絕。
