Judges Act Article 83
A tenured judge may, during the term of services, submit the certified admissions documents to the Judicial Yuan and request for a leave of absence without pay after being approved.Unless otherwise approved by the Judicial Yuan, the duration for leave of absence without pay referred to in the preceding paragraph shall not exceed three years.

實任法官於任職期間，得向司法院提出入學許可證明文件，經同意後，聲請留職停薪。
