Family Act Article 17

For the purpose of ascertaining the financial situations which the parties or other interested parties are in, the court may request appropriate persons with relevant professional knowledge in the police authorities, the revenue services, financial institutes, colleges or other relevant authorities or organizations, to conduct necessary investigations.The person so requested in accordance with the preceding paragraph shall assume the obligation to investigate.The court shall assess the necessary expenses on the requested investigations, as well as the remuneration claimed by the persons who have conducted those investigations. The assessed expenses and remuneration shall constitute part of the total proceedings fees.

法院得囑託警察機關、稅捐機關、金融機構、學校及其他有關機關、團體或具有相關專業知識之適當人士為必要之調查及查明當事人或關係人之財產狀況。
前項受託者有為調查之義務。
囑託調查所需必要費用及受託個人請求之酬金，由法院核定，並為程序費用之一部。
