A witness may refuse to testify if his testimony may subject himself or the person having the relationship to him specified in section I of the preceding article to criminal prosecution or punishment.Note: Articles 1 through 343 were amended lastly on February 6, 2003.

證人恐因陳述致自己或與其有前條第一項關係之人受刑事追訴或處罰者，得拒絕證言。
