The Notary Act Article 32

Upon being appointed, civil notaries may not perform their duties unless they meet the following requirements:1. Register with the district court or branch to which they are registered.2. Join the notaries association.3. Maintain malpractice liability insurance coverage and pay the premium.4. Submit the mark of their seal, iron stamp and a copy of their signature to the district court or branch to to which they are registered.

民間之公證人於任命後，非經踐行下列各款事項，不得執行職務：
一、向所屬地方法院或其分院登錄。
二、加入公證人公會。
三、參加責任保險並繳納保險費。
四、向所屬地方法院或其分院提出職章、鋼印之印鑑及簽名式。
