Notaries, in the course of performing notarial affairs, may when necessary, inquire of relevant agencies, organizations or individuals and may request their assistance.The above provision also applies to foreign agencies, organizations or individuals.
中文原文 公證法第12條
公證人辦理公證事務，於必要時，得向有關機關、團體或個人查詢，並得請求其協助。
前項情形，亦得商請外國機關、團體或個人為之。
