Court Organization Act Article 67

The District Prosecutors Offices and their branches shall establish Probation Officers Offices, staffed by probation officers, clinical psychologists or counseling psychologists, and assistants. If there are two or more probation officers in one office, a chief probation officer position shall be staffed; if there are six or more probation officers, the office may be divided into sections. The position of the section chief shall be served concurrently by a probation officer with no separate staffing for a chief.The position rankings of probation officers are grades 7 to 9 of the recommendation rank. Two of the probation officers of the classification 1of District Prosecutors Offices and their branches, as listed in the appendix of paragraph 1 of Article 73, may have the position ranking of grade 10 of the selection rank. Chief probation officers shall have the position ranking of grade 9 of the recommendation rank, or grade 10 of the selection rank; clinical psychologists shall have the position ranking of grade (3) of medical practitioner; counseling psychologists shall have the position ranking of grade (3) of medical practitioner; and assistants shall have the position rankings of grades 4 to 5 of the elementary rank, and one half of which may have grade 6 of the recommendation rank.

地方檢察署及檢察分署設觀護人室，置觀護人、臨床心理師或諮商心理師及佐理員。
觀護人在二人以上者，置主任觀護人；在六人以上者，得分組辦事，組長由觀護人兼任，不另列等。
觀護人，薦任第七職等至第九職等，第七十三條第一項附表所定第一類地方檢察署及其檢察分署之觀護人，其中二人得列簡任第十職等；主任觀護人，薦任第九職等或簡任第十職等；臨床心理師，列師（三）級；諮商心理師，列師（三）級；佐理員，委任第四職等至第五職等，其中二分之一得列薦任第六職等。
