The Juvenile and Family Court Organization Act Article 26
An Investigation Officer for Juvenile Affairs shall comply with the supervision of a Judge while executing the following duties:1. Investigation and collection of information relating to the juvenile affairs.2. Investigation and guiding of juveniles who are in custody or being detained.3. Affairs as assigned by other legal provisions.A Protection Officer for Juvenile Affairs shall comply with the supervision of a Judge while executing the following duties:1. A protection disposition that is to be enforced by a Protection Officer for Juvenile Affairs.2. Affairs as assigned by other legal provisions.An Investigation Officer for Juvenile Affairs and a Protection Officer for Juvenile Affairs may share duties.

少年調查官應服從法官之監督，執行下列職務：
一、調查、蒐集關於少年事件之資料。
二、對於責付、收容少年之調查、輔導事項。
三、其他法令所定之事務。
少年保護官應服從法官之監督，執行下列職務：
一、掌理由少年保護官執行之保護處分。
二、其他法令所定之事務。
少年調查官、少年保護官得相互兼理之。
一、調查、蒐集關於少年事件之資料。
二、對於責付、收容少年之調查、輔導事項。
三、其他法令所定之事務。
少年保護官應服從法官之監督，執行下列職務：
